Job description

As a Quality Control Technician, you will:

  • Perform testing of finished goods per written test method procedures and guidelines. Test methods may include the following;
    • Rewet
    • Absorbent Capacity
    • Side Seam Bond Strength
    • Tab Shear and Peel Strength
    • Elastic Creep and Elongation
    • Dimensional Measurements
    • Visual Defects
  • Immediately report defects to the Production Group Leaders. Technicians will be responsible for reporting to Management any other issue, which could jeopardize customer satisfaction.
  • Process final release of product paper work.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to quarantine any product suspect of being defective.
  • Enter test data in Quality databases.
  • Observe Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety procedures.
  • Complete special assignments delegated by the Quality Group Leader.

Profile

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Must be able to read and interpret work documents
  • Must have the ability to work in teams
  • Must have the ability to perform basic math
  • Must have the ability to adapt to frequent changes
  • Must be able to work overtime or on a different shift if required.
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Computer and statistical skills as applicable to quality control inspection in the manufacturing field.
