Job description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate Drylock Core Values: Safety, Respect, Ownership
- Follows all Safety regulations
- Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as conveyors systems, pneumatic - equipment, chillers, hot melt, wrappers, etc.
- Perform minor repairs on electrical components
- Perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment.C15
- Perform basic industrial electrical troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot and Repair robotic equipment.
- Identify and report potential equipment and building problems.
Profile
Industrial Technician Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years consecutive employment with 1 employer
- 2-year technical degree preferred.
- Must have at least 2-year minimum experience in production field.
- Basic industrial automation (PLC programming) experience/training is a plus.
- Score a minimum of 70% on the Bennett Mechanical Aptitude assessment.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to read and interpret work documents
- Must have the ability to work in teams
- Must have the ability to perform basic math
- Must have the ability to adapt to frequent changes
- Strong troubleshooting skills in pneumatics, electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Skill in oral/interpersonal communications
- Knowledge of shop equipment (lathe, drill press, mill).
- Positive attitude
- Ability to multi-task
- Good record keeping for work orders, parts orders, inventory and service/tenant follow-up.
- Basic understanding of PLCs and controls is a plus
- Be able to read mechanical tools as: caliper, micrometer, etc.
- Be able to read blueprints and schematics is a plus
- Welding is a plus
- Autocad is a plus
- Respects individuals, the organization, occupational health and safety, authority, the community and the team.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.

Pay: From $30 per hour (base pay + rotating shift premium)
