Job description
As a Financial Analyst, you will:
- Demonstrate Drylock Core Values: Safety, Respect, Ownership
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of various balance sheet accounts, coordination, and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports
- Prepare, analyze, and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, including IFRS Reporting for Leases
- Prepare Consolidate Financial Reporting for Corporate in accordance with GAAP and IFRS
- Involved in taxes and abide by federal regulations
- Approve invoices for further processing
- Analyze manufacturing results and expenses
- Set standard cost and monitor variations; Monthly FIFO revaluation, PPV reporting
- Maintain fixed asset records
- Manage Cash Book and prepare Forecasts
- Assist the Controller with the Annual Budget preparation: Fixed Assets, Depreciation, Interest, Rents, Cost of Sales, and Raw Materials Pricing
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Prepare other analyses and special projects as requested
Profile
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Minimum 5 years accounting experience
- Preferred: experience in a manufacturing setting
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Must be able to read and interpret work documents
- Must have the ability to work in teams
- Must have the ability to perform basic math
- Must have the ability to adapt to frequent changes
- Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills
- Additional experience in Audit and International accounting
- Must be able to read and interpret production related documents
