Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate Drylock Core Values: Safety, Respect, Ownership
  • Follows all Safety regulations
  • Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as conveyors systems, pneumatic - equipment, chillers, hot melt, wrappers, etc.
  • Perform minor repairs on electrical components
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment.C15
  • Perform basic industrial electrical troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoot and Repair robotic equipment.
  • Identify and report potential equipment and building problems.

Profile

Industrial Technician Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years consecutive employment with 1 employer
  • 2-year technical degree preferred.
  • Must have at least 2-year minimum experience in production field.
  • Basic industrial automation (PLC programming) experience/training is a plus.
  • Score a minimum of 70% on the Bennett Mechanical Aptitude assessment.

 

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to read and interpret work documents
  • Must have the ability to work in teams
  • Must have the ability to perform basic math
  • Must have the ability to adapt to frequent changes
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in pneumatics, electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Skill in oral/interpersonal communications
  • Knowledge of shop equipment (lathe, drill press, mill).
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Good record keeping for work orders, parts orders, inventory and service/tenant follow-up.
  • Basic understanding of PLCs and controls is a plus
  • Be able to read mechanical tools as: caliper, micrometer, etc.
  • Be able to read blueprints and schematics is a plus
  • Welding is a plus
  • Autocad is a plus
  • Respects individuals, the organization, occupational health and safety, authority, the community and the team.
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision.

Pay: From $30 per hour (base pay + rotating shift premium)
