As a Lead Operator, you’ll work three or four 12 hour shifts each week, rotating from days (7am-7pm) to nights (7pm-7am) every 8 weeks.

Job description

  • Demonstrate Drylock Core Values: Safety, Respect, Ownership
  • Follows all safety regulations.
  • Review shift communication crossover at start and end of shift to ensure any issues are communicated.
  • At the beginning of each shift, ensure all production workers are at assigned job locations.  Notify Team Leader of any absences.
  • Perform equipment checks and start-up procedures as needed.
  • Verify raw material supply levels and accuracy of materials per Bill of Material at production line.
  • Perform first article inspection as needed.
  • Establish, monitor, maintain and communicate good machine run settings and any deviations with the process control.
  • Perform regular job duties.
  • Follow standardized work.
  • Collect data regarding production and quality as required.
  • Coordinate and perform changeovers as instructed.
  • Assist in the management of breaks for the production crew.
  • Complete production paperwork as required.
  • Prepare work area for next shift.
  • Complete daily 5S requirements.
  • Verify work completion with Team Leader.
  • Train new and existing operators as needed
  • Enter work requests in eMaint
  • Other duties as requested by Group Leader or Department Manager


  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1-year manufacturing related experience
  • Minimum 2-years consecutive employment with 1 employer
