Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate Drylock Core Values:  Safety, Respect, Ownership
  • Builds a solid understanding of ALL Adult Incontinence and Baby products and how they compare to the competition to solicit orders more effectively.
  • Inform customers about the benefits of Drylock products versus those of the competition (product performance, features, and benefits, etc.) to more effectively solicit orders.
  • Monitor and evaluate competitor’s activities, products, and pricing for purposes of developing solicitation strategies.
  • Lead and Coordinate account growth and necessary multi-functional resources to deliver three-year strategic growth goals.
  • Prepare and develop annual budgets and key growth strategies with key assigned retail accounts.
  • Organize assigned customer meetings, business reviews, strategic growth plans.
  • Attend key customer tradeshows and industry relevant events highlighting Drylock leadership and product innovations.
  • Collaborate with key retail decision makers to identify new business opportunities and prepare bids and responses accordingly.
  • Perform field promotional work to obtain sales in an assigned territory where the company and product line are established.
  • Meet solicitation goals as directed by the Retail Business Development Director.
  • Demonstrates products/services and assists in the selection of products/services most applicable to customers' needs.
  • Quote prices, terms, delivery dates, etc. on new or repeat orders subject to approval of management.
  • Execute strategic order solicitation methods to achieve corporate goals.
  • Work with Retail Business Development Manager to conduct solicitation-forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
  • As part of the solicitation process, represent company at trade association meetings to promote products and all key focused customer events.
  • Prepare files concerning solicitation activities (pricing request forms, weekly solicitation report, quarterly strategic solicitation plan, etc.).
  • Must be able to travel frequently.

Profile

Education and Experience:

  • Solicitation experience required with institutional customers, adult incontinent products, and Baby Diaper experience industry preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, in Business Administration, Nursing, Sales, or Marketing degree preferred.

  • Ability to maintain professionalism when dealing with complex and difficult situations.
  • Must be organized, with excellent follow-up and follow-through.

 

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed primarily in a home office setting.
  • Frequent travel is required.

 

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
