Job description
- Supervise the statutory accounting closing process of the group companies (monthly, quarterly, yearly);
- Analyze & coordinate the technical accuracy of the monthly conso data and assist with the consolidation process in SAP BPC;
- Have a pro-active approach and be the business owner of the interco reconciliation process;
- Prepare and review account reconciliations and variance explanations;
- Take accounting ownership of a limited number of subsidiaries for which the accounting has been outsourced to a third-party service provider. This includes the review of the accounts, their integration in the consolidated figures and even handling their payments hands-on;
- Maintain the group financial chart of accounts;
- Implement, monitor, document and update internal financial controls;
- Draft IFRS accounting policies, while offering training, support and advice to the larger Drylock finance community;
- Support with the preparation of the Group audit file;
- Draft the yearly IFRS financial statements and notes;
- Participate in ad hoc financial process improvement projects.
Profile
- You have a Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar;
- You have at least 5 years’ experience within controlling or audit with experience in financial controlling, IFRS and BE GAAP;
- Good knowledge of accounting and closing processes;
- You are a deadline-oriented person with a flexible attitude;
- Analytical person with a hands-on approach and eager to learn;
- Able to adapt to a constantly evolving dynamic international environment;
- Excellent communicative and social skills;
- IT-minded, fluent with Excel, SAP experience (S/4 Hana) is a plus;
- A flexible person, with a passion for the job;
- Fluent in Dutch and English;
- You are willing to travel occasionally to meet international finance colleagues within the Drylock group.
